Lynx teamed up with Brighton Pride to highlight the limited edition rainbow version of its Unity body spray. What could we do to make sure that the Lynx rainbow stood out in the wonderful sea of Pride rainbows?
Brighton Pride had done a fantastic job for the brand the year before in 2018 and in 2019 we wanted to refresh the creative and replicate the success. That could only mean more glitter, more colour – and a lot more Cher!
Although there were high expectations since the festival was already a highlight in the Lynx marketing diary, that meant we knew the location was right, we knew it had the right feel good factor but we knew we needed even more than before.
The show stopping Lynx Unity float was a must-have. It featured passionate performers, simulated fireworks and a 30-foot rainbow, which shimmered against the sleek backdrop of the black float. Our three lookalikes: drag queen Cher, drag kingsGeorge Michael and Freddie Mercury entertained the crowds. For the second year running, local band The High Notes – crowd favourites in 2018 – joined the float.
And to top it all off – hitting the 80s theme hard – a fleet of professional roller dancers did their thing alongside the float to electrify the audience around them.
“There’s something for everyone!”
